are you using the Radeon hot keys as if you need to can customise which you use for recording. Depending on driver version they can be tempermental on recording. I use relive if you need bring up the overlay while in game with Alt R & manually & record that way if you need to. What are the spec of your card your using etc Vram etc. need more info to help.
