AMD Fluid Motion Frames does not work consistently with Helldivers 2.
Currently on 7900xtx with 24.4.1.
By not working consistently, I mean that sometimes the temporary overlay shows that AFMF is not enabled. I can also confirm this by looking at the looking at the refresh rate of my monitor by clicking the status button the remote.
When AFMF is working, I will see the green checkmark in the temporary overlay and I can see that my frames per second are 85 (in steam) but my monitor refresh will be at 165hz.
When AFMF is not working, when my frames per second are 85 my refresh rate is 85hz.
I suspect it is the "anti cheat / copy protection" (nProtect GameGuard) software that is interfering. I say this because I have noticed that sometimes if I quit the game and then relaunch immediately sometimes AFMF will enable.
Something else that is odd - is that the AMD overlay will not display when the game is running. If I alt tab out of the game I cannot even open the AMD Adrenalin Driver panel. I suspect it is "nProtect GameGuard" that is preventing this.
The AMD Overlay will also not work / display in game.
Can we get this resolved so that AFMF consistently works?
