Updated AMD Software Adrenalin to 24.1.1 using windows 11 and using AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT graphics card now Windows 11 cannot detect more than one monitor at a time?
My AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT graphics card can detect each monitor I have if only one of them are connected?
Last Friday before I updated Adrenalin to 24.1.1, Windows 11 and previous version of Adrenalin, could detect and show all three of my monitors at the same time?
What in the world has happened and more important what do I do to fix this problem?
I upgraded my Adrenalin version to AMD Software Adrenalin 24.1.1 and re seated all my cables and now everything is working fine can detect all three monitors!
thanks, for the help!
It sounds like you're dealing with a frustrating issue after updating your AMD Software Adrenalin to version 24.1.1 on your Windows 11 system with an AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT graphics card. To resolve the problem of Windows not detecting more than one monitor at a time, you can start by reverting to the previous driver version, as new updates can sometimes cause compatibility issues. In Device Manager, right-click your graphics card under Display adapters, select Properties, and then the Driver tab to roll back if the option is available. Ensure all display cables are securely connected, and check Windows Display Settings to detect monitors again by clicking the **Detect** button. In the AMD Adrenalin Software, navigate to the Display tab to see if all monitors are recognized and consider resetting the software settings to default. Additionally, ensure Windows 11 is fully updated by checking Windows Update in the settings. If issues persist, you might want to uninstall the AMD drivers completely using the AMD Cleanup Utility and then reinstall the latest version from the AMD website. If these steps don’t resolve the issue, reaching out to AMD support or checking relevant forums for known issues and fixes may be beneficial. Good luck!
