I have a 7900 XTX GPU, paired with a 7800X3D.
Shortly after I got this card, I would get driver timeouts randomly in pretty much any game and it would crash me to desktop and I would have to restart my PC. Fine, whatever, the card sucks, but there is a fix for it: lowering the max frequency to 2700 MHz totally stops all driver timeouts. Awesome. Now I can keep using this card until it's time to replace it with it's much better competitor (why did I switch?)
Here lies the secondary issue: the tuning profile keeps randomly resetting to default, with no warning, so I will be in a game and it will have a driver timeout. How hard is it to keep the profile saved? It looks like this issue goes back to at least 2018, where some people are having issues saving their UC/OC profiles? I mean, you press apply settings/save, and it should save your profile, no? Seems like an incredibly easy thing to take care of, as every other program in existence has no issues with saving profiles.
TL;DR: Driver timeouts cause me to limit MHz to 2700, but profile randomly resets to default whenever it feels like it, causing driver timeouts.
