Seemingly out of nowhere, my PC wont run any games. They attempt to launch, then either crash or freeze, forcing me to close them in task manager. Task manager then locks up and I have to force close it.
I have checked all of the games files in Steam and on the Xbox app and everything is fine.
I have run diagnostics, health checks and stress tests on every hardware component and haven't found any issues. The only odd thing that I am seeing is my GPU (MSI 7900xtx) is jumping from 0 to 100 every few seconds outside of games and GPU memory seems locked at 3000 mhz. I dont know if either of those figures are considered normal for idle.
I have run virus and malware scans and everything is showing up clean.
I have tried multiple different drivers including the latest one available. I have uninstalled and reinstalled AMD Adrenaline.
When Adrenaline is uninstalled, games will launch, but they are choppy and unplayable. As soon as I reinstall, it goes right back to locking up or crashing during launch.
Other strange issues I have had while troubleshooting: A couple of screen cut outs when installing or uninstalling drivers that forced me to hard reset. Screen cutting out and losing my windows task bar. PC freezing during restart after installing or uninstalling.
I have no idea what's going on. What am I missing?
