Games Crashing on 7900xt

So recently, without warning my Witcher 3 game got stuck in a crash loop. I attempted to fix corrupted files but then my PC BSOD with a watchdog violation. i’ve tried other games to see if it was just The Witcher but now most if not all of my games do not run for very long before crashing (RDR2, MW2). These games i’ve been playing without any issues until yesterday which i can’t recall if any updates were applied. Also these games i’ve been playing on either Vulkan or Directx11. I’ve tried DDU, undervolting my GPU, etc. but still no dice. Changing refresh rates of my monitor as well as disabling Freesync yields no results. it should be noted that some games like Tarkov run perfectly fine with no crashes.

When playing the games that crash it will run fine for about 2-5 minutes before inevitably crashing. sometimes stuttering and/or artifacting occurs before crashing.

Monitoring my system my components do not overheat. My GPU fans however start kicking up at 100% speed before crashing

all in all its disappointing how Microsoft and AMD can’t seem to collaborate or at least test these drivers before pushing them out to the consumer leaving them to deal with hours of debugging and troubleshooting.

i can describe these issues more in detail if need be

Had the same issue on demanding games like RDR2 here is what I did to to fix the issue

Problem : System crash

Solution : Set graphics setting from Ultra to high and set it at DirectX12 as some games are by default set at Vulkan

Intermittent fan noise :

Solution :

Step 1
- In AMD settings Go to Performance Click on Tuning ,

Step 2

-Set fan Tuning to Custom Under Fan Tunning

Step 3

Deactivate Zero RPM

I don't know why AMD doesn't post this as all the other solutions are a waste of time if some ones CPU PSU ect wasn't working properly they would know long before even installing a new GPU
