Since a few updates, the game detection within Adrenalin hasn't been working properly. As a result, it's no longer possible to assign a performance profile to a game.
Steps to reproduce:
- Install the software reWASD.
- From now on, during an automatic scan, Adrenalin detects reWASD as "Hitman Pro" but displays the reWASD logo.
- Since reWASD starts automatically with Windows, "Hitman Pro" is shown as running in Adrenalin.
- The file path for this "Hitman Pro" points to the reWASD executable.
- For other games, Adrenalin no longer reacts to a game launch and doesn't activate a performance profile either.
After deleting this "Hitman Pro" entry, no other game is recognized as running either.
If I launch a game directly from Adrenalin, it is detected as running, but no performance profile is activated. Even after stopping the game, it remains displayed as running in Adrenalin.
The latest Adrenalin update didn't bring any changes to this issue either.
There are other users of reWASD facing the same problem.
reWASD was working without any problem for many years and did not interfere with adrenalin at all.
This is more than frustrating.
