Hi!
I have Asus G14 2022 (GA402RK) with Ryzen 6800HS and Radeon 6800s and I have installed everything from the GA402RK_Enable_USB4_Testing_Package_V4 - beta bois, power delivery and drivers. Still, the Thunderbolt dock Dell TB16 doesn't work (only charges, but no video or usb connection).
I read on the internet that this particular dock station should work with this laptop and USB4 beta update.
Also, I've noticed that some of the chipset drivers are not installed properly in Device Manager.
3 out of 4 drivers in AMD_Chipset_DriverOnly_ROG_AMD_Z_V1.2.0.124_37842_20241030143353\USB4CM_Driver\WTx64 seem to be not installed.
I've tried finding the devices by the installation instructions like
4. Find a device with name as "USB Root Hub (USB 3.0)" with device ID's "USB\ROOT_HUB30&VID1022&PID15D6" or "USB\ROOT_HUB30&VID1022&PID15C0" or
"USB\ROOT_HUB30&VID1022&PID15C2".
5. Click on Update the driver
and it says that the driver is for the unsupported device, though it has to be right
PCI Express Root Port (PCI\VEN_1022&DEV_14CD) gives an error when AMD USB4 Host Router (162E) (the only one from the USB4CM_Driver folder that I managed to install) is installed:
This device is currently waiting on another device or set of devices to start. (Code 51)
Dependencies:
ACPI\PNP0A08\0
USB4@#_SB_.PCI0.GP19.NHI0
And I can't install the AMD_PCIe_root_filter driver on it
However, if I choose USB4(TM) Host Router (Microsoft) for the same device (162E), the PCI Express Root Port (PCI\VEN_1022&DEV_14CD) seems to work without errors.
Asus support has no solution though dudes on Reddit wrote that it worked for them. Does anybody know if this can be solved? Or does it make no sense at all? =D
Thanks!
