FPS Stability issue and screen blanking with 6800 xt video card

I have this issue posted on a reddit gigabyte forum all ready so ill repeat the important parts here. The video can be referenced via the reddit post.

reddit post

System Build:

Amd 5900x on an x570 msi unify with 32 GB of RAM

MSI 6800xt gaming trio and seasonic 1000w PSU.

Tested with both gaming trio and XFX speedster merc 6800xt

ISSUE:

Happens on 2 monitors from the same manufacturer. Gigabyte m28u and FI32U. Both 4k monitors with the most uptodate firmware.

Random screen blanking for anywhere between 5 seconds to indefinitely (forces an unplug/replug of monitor or alt tab to desktop to fix it) that happens more so in warzone and less so in other games. Sometimes its fine for a while, but then starts to happen for no reason. The Blanking occurs more on the HDMI port rather than DP. Another issue has to do with the FPS being unstable on the desktop once game programs have closed. The video i have posted on reddit shows it very clearly. Windows says 144 hz, but the monitors FPS jumps all over the place. Both monitors exhibit the same behavior. And this happens on multiple GFX cards too. Both my MSI 6800 xt gaming trio and an XFX speedster merc 6800 xt showed the same issues over time. Ive tried 4 different HDMI cables and all had the issue. Overclocks or no overclocks, windows fresh install...same issue. Beyond that its either the firmware  on the monitors or AMD driver software thats interacting strangely with these monitors. I haven't test it thoroughly but disabled freesync probably fixes this issue.

And the instability via the monitor FPS counter is definitely lower FPS as it feels obviously different to 144 hz that its noticeable during mouse movement on the desktop. As the video shows you can see the framerate jumping all over the place even after i reset the refresh rate via windows.

As mentioned, both the m28u and FI32u exhibit this behavior even with 2 different graphics cards and 4 different cables. Im going insane trying to troubleshoot this.

Any help would be appreciated.

Display port has a higher frequency, I would try to run both off Display port..

Yeah i know DP has a larger BW, so i do use that exclusively. Im just wondering why it would do that on HDMI. It should have enough BW to do 4k 144 hz w/ DSC, so its baffling why it would be blanking for no reason.

I have an AIB 6900 XT with 5950X and run on DP and C to DP and I also had an issue with my screens randomly blanking out.  In my case cheap cables contributed to the issue so I swapped everything out to cable matters braided 8k cables but every once in a while my 2nd monitor will do it.

These are behaviors that I've never seen before while running an nvidia card so IDK what the issue could be unless the chipset controlling the GPU outputs is at fault.

Yeah ive tried several cables. Same issue. 2 different 6800 xts. Same issue.

Im on the DP now and ive had the FPS issue on boot up. FPS on the desktop goes from 60 to 144 hz randomly as seen in the video. I haven't seen the blanking issue in a while, but its very intermittent. it is possible i have some kind of noise issue thats interfering somehow with the signal.

Its a very strange problem that i haven't been able to fully resolve. I have contacted tech support so well see what they say.

Next would be gigabye with a possible RMA for the smaller monitor to see what happens.
