After hours of troubleshooting, I finally got buttery smooth gameplay in Doom Eternal. I found the culprit:
The 'Enhanced Sync' feature is what causes micro-stutters. But if you turn it off in the Doom Eternal game profile(s) in your Adrenalin settings, it still stutters! Why? Because the setting isn't being respected. You have to turn off 'Enhanced Sync' in the Global Gaming Settings. Suddenly the stutters are gone!
This is literally the stupidest thing, because other settings set in the game profile are respected, just not this one. Hopefully AMD notices this post and fixes this issue. It costed me hours of troubleshooting and lots of frustration.
Hope it helps someone else as well.
