In my case, this chipset driver changed the BIOS of my X399 Mobo, the boot drive no longer worked. After several attempts I came into the bios and restored the start order and deleted all others. Then I flashed the BIOS to be on the safe side, even though the current one was on, solved the problem. What is AMD doing, bottle empty!
