I can’t seem to be able to update my 8670m driver independently as both chips are classified as legacy drivers and, even being both very different, are both classified as “8000 series”.
the laptop is an asus f550dp (no support to windows 10 available concerning the issue)
apu chipset: A6-5350 with Radeon HD8450m (last driver available catalyst 15.7.1 whql 29/7/2015)
Secondary graphics chip: Radeon HD 8670m (driver provided by windows update 15.201.1101.0 from 06/08/2015).
adrenalin software update uninstall catalyst software and disable dual graphics, disables hd8670m after multiple restarts with black screen and a cold boot. Also displays the massage that the drivers are damaged and must be reinstalled, and starts giving bsod’s from atikmdag.sys with forces me to use the drivers I listed as latest compatible.
Any idea of how to solve this issue? Tried every solution I found about relative similar issues but found no solution to this “8000 series” kind of problem.
