Driver issues 6900 xt crashing

So I had this crashes happen for a long time and I think I've found my solution, what would maybe help others.

While playing a game the system freezes and after a blue screen or some second/reboot it would give me the option to send a crash report. And a note that wattman has been set to default.

I tried using amd uninstall tools and other uninstall tool ddu and reinstall amd software. But the crashes kept coming back.

Also, while gaming, it didn't feel like it's running optimal lower fps then it should be.

What I found is. In the task manager there were still running some ASUS services from the old GPU even if the software was uninstalled.

The problem was, when right-clicking and go to location there was an ASUS map, I couldn't delete it because I didn't have the rights to do so. Even tho my windows account was set to admin right.

So while having shutting down the ASUS services. Right-click to the ASUS map and going to the security tab. Set the admin rights to all accounts. Deleting every map one by one in the ASUS map. The service didn't came back.

I used the AMD uninstall tool again and reinstalled adrenaline. The ASUS didn't show up in the task manager. And the installation didn't crash like it did before (strange crash where the system rebooted, but the software was installed). It feels like my system is running quicker now than before, and my fps is running more normal.

I hope this helps others. Make sure the software maps from your old drivers are gone, even if the software isn't visible ad the  software/files service.

Too bad, had 1 blue screen since last post. Back to finding what it could be...

You should try a software called "bluescreenview" to see what's causing the bsod. It could be literally anything.

With this software you can see the dump files that windows create when the bsod happens, and the driver or dll causing it.

Hope this helps!
