driver install problem

  • AMD Graphics Card
    • AMD R9 380
  • Desktop: asrock 970 pro3
  • Windows 7 64bit Operating System
  • Driver version installed
    • no driver installed
  • Display Devices
    • Samsung 21" monitor
  • Motherboard + Bios Revision
    • Asrock 970 pro3
  • CPU/APU
    • FX-8320
  • Power Supply Unit  Make, Model & Wattage
    • Coller master 750W
  • RAM
    • 16gig Ram

Describe your issue:

Display driver does not install , get error "inf file" cant be found This a new install of windows 7/64 according to windows all updates are installed. the HDMI sound drivers work but the :display: drivers do not. I have tried numerous versions of AMD drivers, started in safe mode and used DDU to remove everything,. still not working, get the same error. I have spent way to long trying to fix this, the only thing I have changed on this box was the HDD, it worked perfectly before that. I have tried the "web install" and have tried the "full version of numerous driver downloads". Any help would be appreciated.

Well, I'm not going to be that person that says "nevermind fixed it" and leave it hanging there. i did fix it, I had to reinstall Win7/64 from scratch. now It's running like its supposed to be, have no clue what the problem was but it's been years since I installed windows, I figured it was time for a reinstall.I guess you can call it solved...
