Driver for AMD Integrated Graphics Keeps Crashing - Black Screen and Instability

I have been trying to use the integrated graphics that are on the Ryzen 9 7900x but I keep have problems with the computer freezing and showing black screens. Looking at event viewer, it keeps reporting that "Display driver amduw23g stopped responding and has successfully recovered." I have tried DDU and fully uninstalling the drivers, but it did not help much at all but make it slightly stable, still with the black screens and the driver crashing. I can't figure out how to get it to stop and why it keeps crashing. Even after trying both the driver that is provided by Windows Update, and downloading it off the AMD website, it still crashes. After using DDU, it started to bluescreen, giving me a MEMORY.DMP file. 

 

Driver:

31.0.22044.1 (Windows Update) and Adrenalin 24.7.1 (Manually)

CPU:

Ryzen 9 7900x with Integrated Graphics

OS:

Windows 11 Pro 10.0.22631

Display:

Acer ED323QU P 2560x1440p 165hz

Motherboard:

AORUS B650 Elite AX R ev 1.2

Power Supply:

EVGA 1000 GT, 80 Plus Gold 1000W

RAM:

CORSAIR VENGEANCE RGB DDR5 RAM 32GB (2x16GB) 6400MHz

When you install the AMD driver go to Device Manager and see if there are any Errors showing.

 

Also go to Windows Event Viewer - Errors and see if there are any errors concerning your IGPU.

 

Try installing a previous 7900x AMD driver and see if the same thing occurs from here: https://www.amd.com/en/support/downloads/previous-drivers.html/processors/ryzen/ryzen-7000-series/am...

 

Also go to your Motherboard's QVL List for the 7000 series processors and see if the RAM you have installed is compatible with your Processor and Motherboard: https://www.gigabyte.com/us/Motherboard/B650-AORUS-ELITE-AX-rev-12/support#support-memsup

 

Or go to Corsair Website and see if the RAM you have installed is compatible with your Motherboard via its QVL list.

Also update your BIOS version if it is old: https://www.gigabyte.com/us/Motherboard/B650-AORUS-ELITE-AX-rev-12/support#support-dl-bios

 

install the latest AMD CHIPSET drivers from AMD download page: https://www.amd.com/en/support/downloads/drivers.html/chipsets/am5/b650.html

 

Make sure Windows 11 is fully updated via Windows Update.

 

I would open a AMD SUPPORT - WARRANTY ticket to see if possibly you have a defective processor that needs to be RMA to be checked: https://www.amd.com/en/forms/contact-us/support.html

 

After installing the AMD Driver download and run all three Stress tests from OCCT , CPU,GPU, & PSU. This might determine if you have a hardware issue such as overheating causing your problems.
