Does the ATI Radeon HD 3870 X2 support LG Ultra Wide 34" Monitor?

I just purchased a LG Ultra Wide 34" monitor with HDMI connector. I have it hooked up to my computer as instructed but the monitor will not detect a source. I am wondering if my Radeon HD 3870 X2 may not support the newer monitor.

Can anyone assist me? I have made sure that my drivers for the card are up to date...but monitor doesn't see the computer.  HELP!!!

Microsoft doesn't even support that video card, and it features neither DisplayPort nor HDMI. You seriously need to consider upgrading it to a supported model.
