Hi everyone,
A few days ago, I was checking about HPET on Wiindows 10 and there's a lot of contradictions to know wether we have to disable HPET on BIOS (and OS too) or not.
Indeed, I need answers for my case because I have a PC modern configuration (see below) and I especially have a Intel CPU. All answers I have found in my search concerned only older AMD Cpu or Ryzen.
Of course, I have checked on prompt command if HPET is off or not, and it's off. So Windows 10 doesn't use it.
Because I want to get more performance, or should I say stability since HPET gives us some benefits for gaming experience. My PC is dedicated only for gaming, to be clear.
Does HPET desactivated on BIOS give me more performance/stability or not ?
