So i just updated my graphics drivers to 18.8.2 today and now whenever i move my mouse my screen freezes for a second

i've tried to run a chkdsk and a few other options and none have fixed this please help

It's a known issue listed in the known issues section of release notes.

You can revert to 18.3.4 (which I'm using) or early or maybe even a couple later than that.

Anyhow, just revert using device manager, uninstalling your current version and installing older or trying a system restore.
