Chrome having issues with hardware acceleration

Hey there friends!

First of sorry for my bad english, but I thought this forum would be the best place for advice than some random german website

I just finished building my first pc ever with help of a friend and this is my first time using an AMD graphics card (6800 RX) because it was on a huge discount when we were searching for one. I should notice too, that I'm fairly new to general PC stuff since I just always bought a finished pc and everything just worked from the start.

The building and setting up everything went pretty fine, I mean we had some issues with the cpu water cooling because neither of us had any experience with that but that's fixed now.

Anyways I'm getting carried away a little. The only issue I'm having right now is with my Chrome Browser. Everything else works just fine. I noticed stuttering and complete blackscreens which resulted in my completely turning off my pc. One time Chrome even just deinstalled my AMD software and on the next PC restart I had to install the new latest graphic driver :I

So I looked up on google for some fixes and some people were reporting, that AMD had some issues with the hardware acceleration which I then turned off and since then everything works just fine. Is that really the issue? I'm running the latest 22.10.2 version. Or is there a way to fix that? Can I safely use chrome with acceleration off?

Thanks in advance for all the answers
