It boils down to Windows 10 thinks one of my side monitors can support a higher resolution than it actually can. (Displayport to VGA adapter to vga lead to monitor)
The correct drivers for the monitor affected are installed, but windows still gives me the option to select a resolution it cannot handle
In the quick setup, Eyefinity sets each monitor to the max resolution it thinks it can handle based on what windows reports. This causes that monitor to black out.
I used to get around this by setting the individual monitors resolutions manually, but the option doesn't seem to exist anymore
I cannot find a way to set windows 10 to block specific resolutions.
I have a displayport direct to dvi lead in the mail, but can anyone recommend a more immediate solution?
