(RX6600)
I recently purchased "Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2" and ran into performance hitches. I saw there were "preview drivers" with support for the game, so I installed that in a desperate attempt to get the game to run decently, instead of having to refund the game on Steam. There were no improvements to performance and the preview driver was making my OBS glitch out. I went back to 24.8.1, and while OBS is back to normal, I can no longer play any Call of Duty at all. "Call of Duty HQ" now crashes almost immediately upon starting up. It doesn't even get past first loading screen on Steam and won't even boot through Game Pass PC.
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling multiple times, verifying and repairing files multiple times, or just restarting my computer to see if it did anything a few times. Nothing worked.
The only solution was reinstalling the "preview drivers", which I no longer want to use, as I do not wish to run into any further issues with them. I'd like to use OBS without any issues. I'm tech illiterate when it comes to very specific cases like this, but I don't know where else to look for this kind of issue.
(Edit: I don't remember where I found the Preview Drivers, as the link no longer takes me to this version. "amd-software-adrenalin-edition-24.20.11.01")

There seems to be problems with COD lately and the drivers from what the community has been reporting, If I were you I'd use the AMD DDU tool to clear out your drivers and go back 2 or 3 releases to when it was stable for COD if that is a game you play a lot. I think from what people are saying the release before 24.7.1 was ok. let us know if that works for you. Have a read of these ongoing threads. Lots of information relevant to your problems there.

This has seemingly fixed my problem entirely.
I'd forgotten DDU was an option. I feel very dumb, but very thankful at the same time.
I definitely should have remembered it, but I guess I just got too confused.
Thank you so much for reminding me of it!
Cheers, happy I was able to help. Happy gaming!
