I cannot install Ryzen Master after updating my Windows to 24h2
i have Ryzen Master installed before update
And then turned out there are an update for Ryzen Master (I've never checked the update for a while)
When I installed the newer Ryzen Master it asked me to uninstall the previous version, if i remember correctly
After it got uninstalled, the installation proceeds, it shows "Successfully Installed" then i click "Launch RYZEN MASTER"
Nothing happened
When i look for the directory where it should be installed, nothing there
I've tried run the installer directly from C:\AMD\RyzenMasterExtract\MSIFiles\Qt_Dependancies\Setup.exe
Same result: shows "Successfully Installed" but nothing on the C:\Program Files\AMD\RyzenMaster
Tried to uninstall the driver using AMD Cleanup Utilty, reinstall the drivers, and reinstall ryzen master, same result
Also tried using DDU, same result
My PC Spec:
B550 Steel Legend
32GB RAM
Ryzen 5600G
RX 6650 XT & RTX 2060
Windows 11 24H2
Solved! Go to Solution.
I ended up Resetting my PC: reinstall Windows 11 and choose to remove everything
then i install the chipset driver and install Ryzen Master, click LAUNCH RYZEN MASTER, and it actually run
I just reinstalled Windows 11 using the system recovery option, deleting everything old and installing the newest version of W11 through the cloud, since after moving from W11 23H2 to 24H2, the CPU temperatures skyrocketed, also increasing its usage, so I thought it was due to a bad installation, so I reinstalled everything, something that took me quite a while xD.
After having everything correct in W11 24H2, in theory, I realized that for some reason, despite having Ryzen master installed, IT DID NOT APPEAR IN THE SYSTEM ANYWHERE, it was somewhat annoying, I couldn't even search for it through Windows Explorer itself, I tried installing the drivers for my motherboard, installing the new tool to download this type of drivers, I also tried installing the drivers through my CPU, which is a Ryzen 5 3600 and the same problem.
I also tried the solutions that appear on youtuber, go to regedit and delete the Ryzen master folder, I also tried to delete the Ryzen master folder (RyzenMasterExtract) from C://AMD, but despite having completely uninstalled the program, it tells me that I do not have permissions to perform that action, I do not understand what is happening, BUT IT IS FRUSTRATING. AHHH
Every time I try to install the program, it only shows me extracting msi blah blah, but the installation options never appear as they did before, but in the control panel it appears as "installed".
