Journeyman III

Can't watch videos.

It goes along the lines of this:

I'm watching Crunchyroll, and sometimes it happens to youtube as well.
I get a black screen, and sometimes it forces google to not respond.
I also notice that whenever I watch youtube properly, it utilizes "Video Encode".
When the Tab that I'm watching stuff with goes black, It uses the "Copy" engine.
Anyone know what the big idea is?

Thanks.

Specs:
Ryzen 5 3600X
Trident Z Neo 16Gb 3600Mhz
Sapphire Pulse RX 5700 XT

More: I just updated my drivers, Windows build is probably 1909.

I'm assuming you are using Chrome. Go to Settings > Advanced > Use hardware acceleration when available. Uncheck it and restart Chrome.

Hope it helps

Wow, thank you so much. It's, well, working. All I want to know now is why does Hardware Acceleration affect it? I'm thinking it's because the 5700 XT is kinda new and the software isn't developed as well as a GCN card may be, etc. etc. I also noticed when using Photos to render a video that Hardware Acceleration was not letting the video render at all with it enabled, but worked fine disable. Anyways, thank you so much.
