Can't open AMD Adrenalin app in Windows 10
Since the last four driver updates, I cannot open the AMD Adrenaline App on Windows 10 (64bit Home edition). I've got the Halo 6900XT GPU, otherwise it's fine. However the desktop app does not open and I was unhelpfully told to open task manager, stop it and then it would open. That did not work.
Trying to open as administrator does not work. I watched it open briefly in task manager and immediately stop. Even with the newest driver release, the desktop app no longer works for me.

When that happens to me I have to run the AMD uninstaller which cleans it out then reinstall the adrenaline version you want.

Only time Ive seen this is when windows overwrites the amd driver... Try updating the driver manually from the latest set...

I just updated to 2.6.1 so not sure where Windows would have written over the AMD driver.

If you don't disable driver updates WU will most certainly overwrite the Adrenaline driver without your permission while you are using the system. Use gpedit to turn it off.
