Broken HDR via HDMI port on AMD Catalyst drivers since version 21.4.1

Hello there!

Well, I am having issues with my Radeon RX 5700XT graphics card. Since driver version 21.3.2, HDR output on my Sony TV is broken.. Broken in a sense that I cant enable 10bit color or Windows HD color, it simply reverts to 8bit SDR mode.

I have tried to remove and reinstall driver with DDU, checked if all setting on my TV are OK..even changed HDMI cable (although everything was OK till 21.4.1 version of drivers).

Can anyone provide any assistance on this matter? I am running on fully updated Windows 10 Pro 64bit OS with all the latest drivers and MBO BIOS.

Windows update Downloaded this after I cleared out the AMD drivers: and it works

This works on ROTEL with HDR movies, stops the lockup "something went wrong..." with audio

I think most modern drivers can not anylonger deal with HDMI 1.4a
