Hello there,
and congratulations on still not addressing the bezel compensation issue in the newest edition of your drivers!
The problem itself is well-known:
- Eyefinity works!
- But Bezel compensation hasn't popped up as a clickable option since the Crimson Edition Drivers.
My attempts at resolving the issue:
- In the Crimson versions, I could force bezel compensation by changing the horizontal alignment by a few pixels. When I did that, the option was available after setup, miraculously.
- That doesn't work anymore with Adrenaline Edition.
- I read that you could use the following registry key to enable Bezel compensation for non-identical monitors:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\ATI\ACE\Settings\Graphics\BezelSupported]
"Accessible"="Everybody"
- It didn't work.
I find it disgraceful that a standard feature still produces so many unneccessary problems and I would like to find a solution here.
Here's the details, not that it would make much difference:
Describe your system:
- AMD Graphics Card
- Desktop or Laptop System
- Operating System
- Driver version installed
- E.g. Radeon Software Adrenaline Edition 18.11
- Display Devices
- Three LG 16:10 monitors (1680x1650); one projector (WXGA)
- Projector: BenQ, mirrors Desktop, HDMI
- Main monitor: 22EB23, DVI
- Left and right: W2254, both DVI via Displayport adapt.
