balck screen and Amd corrupting

I have a Ryzen 7 5800X cpu and a 6750xt Gpu and since the 22.11.2 update when playing games i have had nothing but crashes i keep getting a black screen and i wait 5 - 10 mins and it doesnt fix it so im having to hold down the power button on my pc case to turn my pc off then it is corrupting my AMD files  i get a message that says (windws update may have automatically replaced AMD graphics driver hence the version of AMD software have launched is not compatible with your curently installed AMD graphics driver) but my windows hasnt just updated as 1 i dont have automatic updates on and 2 if i check when it was alst updated it wasnt anywhere enar when it crashed, i then reinstall AMD and it says repair and then says error cant find the folder, i then have to go to control panel to uninstall AMD as unninstaling it by   add or remove apps doesnt uninstall it properly I have tried contacting AMD via email but get 1 reply a day and that itsnt much use, also they want me to do all these diagnostics when i know its the driver issue and not my pc as all of friends are having the same/ simular issues and are all crashing, and its not fun when trying to play games with friends and all your doing is crashing thats annoying and frustrating so if anyone got any suggestions or know when the next AMD update is out i would be highly appreciative because i cant cope much longer with these crashes

Everyone has thier own driver preference . mine being 22.5.1

Auto update in adrenalin will not stop windows from installing a "newer" driver .  Sometimes even if you have disabled the option in  windows itself. via settings ->system->about->advanced system settings ( rhs of screen) -> hardware -> device installation settings -> No.

So you end up with a driver that is incomaptible with your adrenalin install.  Bad as you can no longer see telemetry like gpu temps fan speeds etc via apps like gpuz , HW,monitor etc . Adrenalin itself will not start if a full install.

Only way to really catch it is via microsofts "WUshowhide"  after you have completely removed all the AMD software via  DDU in safe mode (Display driver uninstaller) and then installed your preferred AMD driver with no internet connection.

and on re connecting the internet.

Should you have missed it and you screen flickers and pauses being tell tale signs along with " system has changed please reboot" style of nessage.. go to device manager -> display adapter -> properties-> driver-> roll back driver   and click on the "driver not working"  and you will roll back to the driver - hopefully blocking  that driver version from being  installed by stealth again.

Good luck
