Armoury Crate AMD Chipset Driver halts at 55%

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Armoury Crate but progress of install continues to halt at 55%. Driver booster 10 says my drivers are all up to date so I feel no need to uninstall and reinstall the driver. System seems to be unaffected by this. Should there be a release of an updated driver I would like to be able to install using Armoury Crate rather than manual installation. Armoury Crate says the latest version of my driver is 3.10.22.706 and current version N/A.

Not an AMD problem, contact asus support.

Ryzen 5 5600x, B550 aorus pro ac, Hyper 212 black, 2 x 16gb F4-3600c16dgtzn kit, NM790 2TB, Nitro+RX6900XT, RM850, Win.10 Pro., LC27G55T..

I've contacted ASUS. They emailed me a 'Motherboard Feedback Form' which I have filled out and returned. I also described in depth the issue I have been having. They should be responding within 24 - 48 hours with a fix and/or a solution. I will post an update when I have been further contacted.

You should really get the driver directly from AMD's site and install it that way. I would also recommend removing armoury crate all together if you can - if you're attached to it then simply get this driver on its own from AMD.

If he removes armoury crate, He will lose control of board lighting, Argb header settings and auto off RGB. Same for every Aura Sync enabled devices he might have, like ram. Not mentioning if He has more ASUS peripherals like a TUF/RoG keyboard for example.

Also, Armoury Crate auto-installs in some older models unless you say no inside BIOS.

Surprisingly after you have mapped your RGB config in armoury crate, you can uninstall it and they remain applied.

Untill a power outtage makes your device power cycle back to rainbow.

Sometimes the ThroneQi stops charging because someone pulled the power and... Back to rainbow.

I learned to live with AC, my Rig is 100% RoG. The profile for RGB change is quite good.

Hi, do not use armoury crate to update chipset drivers. Or any other software.

Its quite buggy, believe me, I tried. Use it only for what its meant for, monitoring, device settings, profiles and AURA Sync.

Good luck
