Installation always fails with error code -1. Previous version installed but made the optical drive unusable.

Was the previous version still active when you installed the updated version?

No, I uninstalled it on Saturday so I could use my optical drive. I also saw in another thread someone said to look for storemi devices in device manager to remove, but I didn't see any.

Can you share the installation logs, system details etc of the failing system.

The system has an MSI B550 Gaming Carbon wifi MB on the latest bios with a Ryzen 5600X and 32GB crucial Ballistix memory on Win10 x64 20H2 with all updates.

Is there some email I should send the compressed log to, or something?
