AMD Software Adrenaline Edition not working after crash

Two times now while watching YouTube on Chrome, my laptop freezes and I get a Thread Stuck in Device Driver Error and when it restarts I discovered this has happened to the app: https://www.amd.com/en/support/kb/faq/pa-300

i reinstalled it the first time it happened 

but the message is this:

I have a feeling it’s the hardware acceleration function causing this which I have now disabled in my browser but if anyone else can help me figure out the problem, I would appreciate it

Also if I have to use DDU, what option do I choose?

 the one I installed also has a fifth option titled “(DCH driver) Remove the AMD Control panel installed from the Microsoft Store”

continuation of my post

Ok a little bit of an update: I now have the Pro Edition installed 

 

And it quickly stopped working, I have edited the search value via the Registry
