listen, you need to go look up what store MI is before you go trying to use it.
Its drive tiering.. before the OS or before create the RAID you have say a webserver with many large slow spinning drives old HDD's bigger capacity.. then you buy tiny NVME or SSD drive.. the STORE MI will be you formatting in special ways and rebooting and doing things a number of times to create a unique formatting and file system so that the fastest drive no longer exists sort of but is simply a kind of self learning AI for files and predicts usage patterns so all the most used and important data gets shuffled onto it invisibly.. you will only see the larger sized slower drives and the high speed drive does what intel optane pretends to or tries to.
So what this means is.. its a special type of RAID with usage analysis and individual file optimization and you turn your entire fastest drive into a "use this drive for everything whenever possible" so it greatly improves speed for the entire system.
This way instead of just putting your OS or the one or two games you enjoy the most and take ages to load on the fastest drive they all get the fastest drive.. understand? but it becomes a performance cache thing.
So it will be a special priority based striping with AI machine learning? understand? and the performance drive may be like a raid parity drive in that you no longer use or see that drive? but all drives will perform like that one? understand?
