Amd Ryzen 7 5800U non pro edition drivers

Hello!

I am very confused.

I just bought Lenovo Ideapad 14ACN6 with the amazing 5800U and 16Gb RAM.

The Windows driver is not letting me open Radeon Software (PA 300 error)

So I blocked that driver and went looking for a better one.

I skipped Lenovo's one as it's almost a year old.

And I tried both:

Adrenalin 22.3.2 Optional
Adrenalin 22.3.1 Recommended (WHQL)

And they are both PRO drivers with no support for RSR.

For a 2880*1800 resolution I cannot use the puny Vega 8.

How can I install the non PRO version?

I do not seem to find options in the installer to opt for the non pro one.

The Mobile AMD Driver for your Processor is compatible with both the Pro and Non-Pro Mobile processors: https://www.amd.com/en/support/kb/release-notes/rn-rad-win-22-3-2

I have the same problem.

My laptop is also a Lenovo IdeaPad 5 Pro 14ACN6 with the 5800U. Every time I download and install the Adrenalin software it is the blue "PRO Edition" instead of the red normal one. Is there any way to force the installation of the red edition? Or change something in the registry? RSR does not show up for me either.

Another bug with me: Despite 90Hz Freesync display, the FPS limiter under "max fps" shows a maximum value of 60, not 90...

Yep, download/save driver direct from AMD, use DDU to remove all AMD graphics drivers and install saved Radeon driver.

Make sure to read all instructions. And you will probably also have to block windows driver updates to stop them replacing with OEM drivers.

Same problem here.

My Laptop is Lenovo Yoga13sACN 2021 with Ryzen 5 5600U. OS is Windows 11.

I installed and used AMD Software:Adrenalin Edition correctly in the first place, maybe because of Windows update or what, After a while when I opened the software it turned to PRO edition, then whatever I do I just can't turn it back to Adrenalin Edition. I've tried to uninstall the drive and software, uninstall device and reset the system to reinstall it but non of them worked. Today Adrenalin Edition updated to 22.7.1, and still it shows PRO edition.

In the screenshot you can see there's no update option for the software and all the Adrenalin's special features are not there, e.g Radeon boost.
