Describe your issue:
Hi everyone,
I bought the laptop mentioned above. The vendor ships the laptop with a nvidia GTX discrete graphics card. I wanted a laptop with a powerfull fully 100% compatible Linux processor.
I want to use only the integrated graphics from the AMD processor. Fedora's Anaconda installer detects the nvidia GPU and install nouveau drivers.
I tried to blacklist both nouveau and nvidia drivers in the grub config file but didn't work.
Also I uninstall nouveau and nvidia drivers but for some reason nouveau kernel driver seems to be enabled even with no existence of the rpm package.
Anyway, xorg-x11-drv-amdgpu-21.0.0-1.fc33.src.rpm doesn't recognize the external monitor.
I just want to use my laptop with an HDMI monitor attached, but only using the AMD integrated graphics.
Can you please advise?
