Hi all,
First of all, I'm not fantastic with computers but I try my best to follow instructions when I'm having problems.
I think over 5 times in the past year, I have had problems with my Radeon Software. After switching from Windows 11 back to Windows 10, I had to start fresh because I didn't change back fast enough. This meant all my software had been wiped from my laptop but files were kept. I had to install the Radeon Software again myself. I installed the one that is recommended for me using the scanner you can download on the AMD site, and no matter how many times I go through that process, the day after installing it, I end up unable to go into the software as the error message comes up telling me it's not compatible with my installed graphics driver.
I have followed the instructions of this link many times over to be sure and nothing I find is helping. The driver works for a day then the next day stops working and I have disabled windows updating drivers on its own. This is the link, so there is nothing in this article that is working for me:
