AMD Noise Suppression prevents computer from sleeping

I noticed theres a Noise Suppression feature in ReLive now so I figured I would turn it on.

As it turns out, by enabling this the computer will not go to sleep, because in Windows it makes a device always 'In use' even if it's a virtual device. I cannot override this behaviour with powercfg -requestoverride thus I'm in a predicament here. I like the feature, but I would appreciate it if my computer would go to sleep after a certain idle time, which currently seems not possible when enabling it.

I'm using Windows 11, if someone ran into this issue and found a fix for it I would love to hear.

I've figured that both AMD's solution as well as RTX Voice suffer from the same problem. Luckily, I found an alternative.

Equalizer APO + noise-suppression-for-voice. You can configure a VST plugin directly to your mic and functionally it holds up really well. On the plus side, it makes my computer go to sleep when I idle where as both GPU vendors solutions do not.
