I have reason to believe that the AMD drivers are causing my system to hang. My laptop is an asus tuf a15 (2022) with a 6800h and rtx 3070m. Only the igpu is used when on battery power, which is the only time where the issues occur.
The issue began with the "The AMDRyzenMasterDriverV22 service failed to start" error showing up in the event viewer. I followed online advice and deleted ryzenmasterv20, but the issue would return a few days after, and on inspection it seemed that after a reboot that the supposedly deleted file would return.
After this, I waited for the next driver to arrive, and then downloaded it (24.6.1). After doing this, hangs have become more frequent, and the event viewer does not give any reason as to why this happens, with the only error shown being when i forcefully restart the laptop with the power button (picture shows a single error occuring at the time of a crash). I am positive that it is the driver that causes this.
Any help would be appreciated.
