Hello, I have my laptop last year, which has a configuration of Ryzen 7840H + Radeon 780M (intergrated) + Radeon RX 7600M XT, with Windows 11.
I have been using AMD Adrenaline edition to update the driver reguarly. However, since version 24.9.1, the driver installed by AMD Software would fail to load with the integrated 780M GPU. (FYI, the RX7600M XT works fine.) The "AMD Audio CoProcessor" also fails in the device management. To continue use my computer, I have to use the AMD cleanup utlility to remove the driver and then manually install previous version. The last version I find compatible is 24.8.1. Now 24.12.1 has been released and I hope the compatibility will be fixed, but still, my Radeon 780M fails to start.
I learned that the new drivers have many new exciting features, so it would be great if I can follow the latest update, instead of stuck at version 24.8.1. Do you have any idea why the latest driver is incompatible with my 780M, and how can I fix it? If the current version is anyway incompatible, will AMD fix the issue in future release?
(By the way, the forum is so clumsy. They have a "labels" field without any hint when posting a message. When you input some reasonable labels and submit, "invalid labels". So you delete the labels and submit again, you find the page has automatically cleared the subject field, so, "please input the subject". Now you fill in the subject again and submit, "max flood limit reached", so you have to wait 10 minutes. Could AMD please improve the page interaction, or does AMD simply don't want we customers to post any issue?)
