AMD Adrenaline Telemetry Data

Hello all,

I haven't used the Adrenaline software until recently and during installation, the option to allow AMD to collect your system information was checked on by default. I was just wondering what kind of information AMD collects.

I have done some reading into the AMD privacy notice as well as their page on the AMD User experience but I wasn't sure if that was a comprehensive list or not as there was an instance where the page included 'etc' which indicated there many be something that wasn't listed that they collect.

I know they collect information about your system like device IDs and such but I was also wondering specifically if they collected

  1. Information that is specific to your copy of hardware such as UUID/GUID or Serial Number for your GPU or any other hardware.

  2. Device peripherals such as your headset, keyboard and mouse, etc

  3. I was also wondering if anybody knew the retention period for data collected through AMD's Adrenaline software. Their Privacy said they keep it for as long as they need it but I'm wondering how long that is in this context. Also if they delete the data afterwards or just anonymize it.

I'm not particularly knowledgeable about this stuff so information would be appreciated. Thanks

On the latest drivers, the option is blank by default which = disabled. You can either just click next and proceed with installation, or manually select Yes/No to opt in or out.

Please refer to the link posted below by goodplay for more information on the user experience program.
