Hi,
sadly the amd drivers are getting pretty bad again, and i think, i will have to swap my rx 6800 xt earlier then i would like to for a rtx 5xxx gpu in the next year.
Problem is, that my normally stable as hell rx 6800 xt isnt as stable anymore when i shutdown the pc, but only with the newer drivers. Amd drivers are actually really evolving, just backwards again.
Solved! Go to Solution.
Update: I could fix it, by turning off windows hibernation, turning off fast start alone isnt enough, then the drivers are literally a lot more stable, its just sad that neither amd or microsoft care enough, to actually see the problem with such features
No Issues at all even better stability from 24.9.1 drivers
that is the weird thing, the 24.9.1 drivers are also for me just perfect, but i cant stay on the same old drivers, just because amd is being amd, i actually like to use their hardware, but the software is just mediocre, especially when i compare it to almost any green driver
several of us get this we understand, I cant wait till intel releases the B780 in the mid range which is all AMD has now, it will hurt them but also force them to support their products better...maybe even have stable drivers for unreal engine 5 and DX12 lol....but im on about a 5080 train right now.....
