The only driver I have had luck with is the beta version of this driver. 24.20.01.02. This version worked well for me.

Good day!
Let's try to figure it out. Let's start with the simplest thing, with program errors.
1. In the AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition video card settings, clear the shader cache.
2. Next, in the properties of the system disk SSD or HDD, uncheck "Allow caching for this device ..."
3. Try playing the game
If it doesn't help, we'll think further

I am having the same EXACT issue. 7900xtx
I can trigger it by running a browser on a second screen and trying to watch a video that is hardware accelerated like youtube at the same time while playing any game. Screen goes black, can still hear what is going on but the driver does not recover.
edit
Did a brand new install of windows. Still able to reproduce the problem the exact same way. On driver 24.8.1

Restart the PC, go to device manager and IG display devices you should see
- AMD Radeon (TM)
- AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX
Click the Radeon (TM) and hit disable *not uninstall*

YEAH! That is also the exact same issue I was having on my 6700XT. Playing YouTube on my second monitor in full screen with a game or program like Unity or Unreal Engine open on my main monitor.
It seems I have fixed the issue by turning off AMD Relive (the clipping feature), and after many tests, it seems like that was what was causing the issue for me. So It's either I roll back to an older driver that worked perfectly fine with AMD Relive, or a find a new clipping software.

Ok guys i had the same problem than journeyman III but my pc will reboot everytime:
7800x3d
7900xt
It was crashing only watching youtube and browsing at no load, never crashed in game. I was getting black screen, then DRAM led on MOBO and pc was rebooting. It was totally random timewise, could crash like after 1 minute and crash after 30 minutes also.
I went back to 24.6.1, i did update google chrome also.
Check your chrome update it seems that it fixed everything for me since i paired it with 24.6.1 adrenalin version.
I had one crash on 24.6.1 but chrome was not updated.
Also i wasn't able to open adrenalin since 24.7.1, so i'm happy to be able to manage my GPU fan speed again ...
hope this helps.
BTW pc was working perfectly fine before update ...

Same.
Cyberpunk 2077 crashs all the time after 10 minutes.
Warhammer Darktide crashes after 10 minutes round about
I reset the shader-cache, did DDU with a new fresh Install of 24.8.1.
I tested some other profiles with Adrenalin - still crashing till now.
I use 7900xt Sapphire Nitro+
I use also 7900xt ASUS TUF
I start to think about a complete switch to Nvidia.
