AFMF2 Frame generation not "generating"

Hi guys, recently I started relying on "Lossless Scaling" to inject frame generation in a game that does not support FSR3 (Alan Wake 2 in my case) and I was pleasantly surprised by the result. When AMD released AFMF2 I rushed it to replace LS for an in-house and hopefully even better solution but despite all my attempts, I can't make it to work.

When I enable AFMF2 (tried with exclusive full screen and borderless, vsync on and off) I can see the frame generation artifact, especially around text and subtitles, however, the frame's fluidity and pacing are equal or even worse than when AFMF2 is off.

If I limit my base framerate with Chill at, let's say 30fps, I can see that the result is not even close to 60fps, and I'm not talking about input lag or amount of artifacts, there arent 60fps on screen.

What should I try to do? I reinstalled the driver and cleaned up with DDU with no results.

I am interested in this as a learning experience, but I have no idea what you are attempting to do.  Maybe someone else can help you?

I mean, I'm trying to use afmf2, that's all
As I stated, when I enable afmf2 I got the very same (if not a little worse) framerate, with a very irregular frametime and I don't know how to fix it (tried all the combinations of borderless, exclusive fullscreen, vsync, chill, etc).

When this occurs, the algorithm simply falls back to not generating frames. This results in a drop in performance but maintains image quality.
