Hi!

So, earlier this day I noticed that mobo gave me code 76, all were working perfectly fine but I restarted windows anyway. The code is gone, but when I'm trying to get into adrenaline software I just got short msg saying that update is required, and a button download and install. Pressing it starts the process of downloading but it's stuck at 0%. So what to do now?

Asus 7900XT @ adrenaline 24.12.1
Ryzen 7 9700x

Update: I also noticed that windows automatically updated AMD display driver. Probably this caused code 76 to popup on mobo. But still AMD adrenaline is dead.

If Windows update replaced the driver then the Adrenalin app will not work or update to AMD direct driver/software.

Reinstall the driver/software pkg direct from AMD.

And there are guides on the web for blocking driver updates from windows update.

Use DDU to remove the driver, it also has an option you can select to stop windows updating the driver. Its easier than changing the group policy.

Yeah, reinstaling drivers did the trick. I saw some reddit posts about that windows updates that overwirtes amd display drivers. Kinda dumb but... it is what it is Second time I'm on radeon gpus so there's some new things I'm discovering
