I saw some old posts a few years back about overlay not working. It just shows N/A for fps in games.

I build this PC about a year ago, and adrenaline fps overlay had worked previously up until a few weeks ago. Maybe an update?

I cannot however find a solution to the problem previously, was a fix ever found?

You could try running DDU or AMD Cleanup utility, to remove the current driver and reinstalling the last working driver.
