Anyone else have issues with specifically Modern Warfare 2 after installing 23.9.2?  I have been mostly been playing Starfield and Cyberpunk with no issues, but decided to try MW2 again last night.  When I load into a multiplayer match, it crashes right as it is about to join a lobby.  I tried a bunch of different things (reinstall, verify game files), but the only thing that worked is rolling back to 23.9.1.  I then tried to again on 23.9.2 fresh install, but same issue.  Not a huge deal right now as I will just switch back to something else, but just wondering if anyone else seeing this issue?

Yes, I have the same problem with my RX 7900 XT graphics card. I have a R9 5950X and RX 7900 XT and downgraded to 23.9.1 and everything worked again but when and update to 23.9.2, COD crash and dualsense doesn't work in COD either.

Same for me on 7900XT. Reverting to 23.9.1 fixed the issue.

I just updated to the new drivers 23.9.3 and same problem with COD:

Exact same symptoms with 5800X and 7900 XTX

game loads, does shader optimisation - but as soon as you try to load the 3D part of the menu or join a game, it's a hard lockup.

present in both 23.9.2 and 23.9.3 - not present with 23.9.1

I have the same problem with my RX 7800 XT with 23.9.3.

Downgraded to 23.9.2 and nothing fixed....same.

AMD Please fix the problem!

turn off anti lag and it will work.

I had a similar problem when I downloaded 23.30.01.02 to try out AFMF in Cyberpunk 2077. When I started MW2 with the identical settings I had on 23.9.3, the game would crash when I tried to join a match or run the benchmark. I wasn't using any of the new features with 23.30.01.02 but that didn't seem to matter. I tried rolling back to 23.9.3, reinstalling MW2, trying to repair the game, DDU wiping everything and reinstalling 23.9.3, uninstalling the game from the original drive and installing it on a different drive but none of that worked. The only thing that "fixed" the problem was turning off anti-lag.  I'm using a 7800X3D and a 7900 XTX.

Is this for the game_ship.exe error? I get this all the time playing ranked. I never had anti-lag on.
