Hello, I was using the 22.11.2 driver for three and a half months. A few hours after the update to Google Chrome today, I got a driver timeout warning while watching a Fullscreen Video. First the image went black for about 15-20 seconds, then the Screen turned back on and gave this error. After the error, I felt noticeable slowness in Mouse Cursor and image. The problem seems to be caused by the Driver, what can I do?
Update driver to 23.3.1. It should fix this problem.
1- Before updating, should I turn off Google Chrome Hardware Acceleration and try?
2- Do I need to uninstall old Driver with Cleanup Utility before update?
3- Or should I install normally without Cleanup Utility?
4- Finally;
Select Minimal Install during driver installation.
should i choose?
Until now, I have always installed the drivers with the Full Install option selected
Man so many people with issues using the 6600 xt. I am right now sitting on 23.2.1 because 23.3.1 literally breaks my system.
Is the 23.2.1 driver stable from 22.11.2? Is it possible that the problem I'm experiencing while using 22.11.2 is due to Google Chrome hardware acceleration?
Same gfs 6600 keeps having driver time out with this driver
