Hi Team Red,
I can't get my 7900XT to run at my ASUS ROG PG278Q @ 144Hz.
It will lock itself to 120Hz and tell me, after trying to force a custom resolution, that I'm out of the monitors refresh range.
This is clearly not the case since I ran @ 144Hz with my 1080.
Really upsetting since I was hoping for a flawless upgrade from my 1080 to the 7900XT.
My set-up is
CPU: Intel 8700k
GPU: XFX 7900XT
Monitor: ASUS ROG PG278Q
OS: Win 10
Adrenaline 23.4.1
Hi,
I haven't search for that exact model, so I'm not sure.
Check if you have ELMB enabled, in some older RoG monitors with this function active, the frequency will be limited to 120Hz.
Thanks for your reply!
Nope I don't have that enabled, it's grey'd out.
Really curious how I can fix this since I see on the forums I'm not the only one experiencing this issue.
@Matt_AMD
I've started a new thread since;
didn't resolve my issues.
Maybe get cru-1.5.1 and see what's going on with the monitor profile. I know superscaling will lock at max refresh but this doesn't seem to be the case. Also some HDMI are limited to 120hz.
The product page said something about a "Turbo Key" for fast settings for 60-120-144hz settings ... maybe monitor is set to 120hz?
