Hi there

My PC keeps Crashing from Games to the Desktop.

Windows is Stable only the Games Crash or throw me out of the game.

Where can i find dump files ? maye someone can scan them.

my System:

6900XT with PCIE Riser vertically mounted

i9-9900k

Gigabyte Z390 Designare Mainboard

4x 8gb G.Skill Trident 3600mhz CL16 (samsung B-die)

750w Dark Power Pro Bequiet PSU

Firewire PCIE Expansion Card.

-I´´´ve tried many different AMD Driver versions

- maybe the PCIE riser causing the Crash?

- can a non used but installed PCIE Firewire Expansion card cause issues?

everything else in the PC is the same since many moths but its unstable now

I have the same problem on the px 6800xt video card but with only one game Assassins Creed Valhalla. Disabling the Radeon anti-lag function helps some users.

Minimum PSU requirement for RX6900XT is 850W , or higher depending on make/model.

And use two separate pcie power cables. 

You certainly will not be attempting any OC on anything less than a modern standard (2018-19 spec) psu.

Why should a GPU drawing maximum 250-300watts require 850w psu?

this makes no sense.  Power Requirement is always the sum of its parts.

For instance i´ve got an Wattmeter and measured the power draw

to be 550-600w MAX.

this beeing: all Fans RGB on and spinning fast, 6900xt Stress-test

and RAM,CPU as well as NVME SSD Stress-test.

so my 750w Dark Power Pro Platinum is not the problem.

furthermore i think i have found the part causing the driver to crash:

my white PCIE Riser Cable was replaced with an EZ-FAB x16 PCie3.0 Cable

since then its stable. no drivers or anything else was changed.

i´ ´d really hope this was the problem and i now can play in peace.
