5700 XT on 24.1.1 driver keeps DirectX erroring out Call of Duty MW3

I have lost so much SR in ranked play in COD MW3 due to either DirectX errors or GPU driver timeouts that it is ridiculous. I have uninstalled and reinstalled drivers for GPU, verified files with Steam, uninstalled and reinstalled the game. Went from using FSR3.0 to no enhancements and still the same issue. This never happened with the previous GPU drivers. I tried a rollback, but it for some reason keeps in on 24.1.1 and won't actually roll the drivers back. This needs to be fixed ASAP! Plus the heat off the new driver update is horrible! Before I was running roughly 60 Celsius (it is a 5700 XT) and after the driver updates I am getting roughly into the 80-82 Celsius range which is made stupid. CAN WE PLEASE FIX THIS RELEASE!!!!

Ive had the same issue yesterday when i started it after a few days break. So far today i have not had any issues with my RX 6800 XT after i dropped GPU speed from 2400MHz to 2000MHz. Played for 4 hours straight, no issues. It is quite a radical drop but judging with my eyes, the game still runs smooth.

I will have to take that back. Reverted to december driver and so far so good. Reducing GPU speed didnt do it after all.

Having the same problem with my 6800xt right now in ranked resurgence. Directx error every other game…

same issue for me,

tried many things so far. nothing helps.

 

i also tried many different things without any solution so far.

- different graphic driver version ( also modded community driver) didnt help

- trying directx reinstalling

- re downloading the complete game

- different vram goal settings ingame

- limiting fps to 144

- turn of undervolting / OC

- turn of ram OC

- turn of CPU OC

Use DDU to uninstall 24.1.1 drivers and download full package of 23.12.1 drivers, not the small version, as they will update and install the latest ones.

Also if you want, try the fix from this post for 24.1.1. drivers. It may work:
