last tax season i splurged and bought xfx thicc ii 5700 xt . got constant driver stopped responding crashes . xfx said to send them card so i did. i thought it was just bad card so i went and bought an msi 5700 xt and thought i use it til mine gets back and then run crossfire . the crashes never did stop .i cant make it 5 minutes in a game without black screen then window pops up saying driver crashed report bug. i got money back for msi version thank goodness . i was able to atleast game on 19.2.2 up until last week when i thought i would give new drivers a chance . i updated windows fully and still getting same thing . i reverted back to 19.2.2 but still crashing somehow . i tried new motherboard . new ram, updating all bios , new power supply ...evga 850 gq , tdrdelay trick , undervolting , turning clocks down , running with and without xmp , in even viewer it always says Display driver amdkmdag stopped responding and has successfully recovered. im losing my mind trying to figure this out lol ..sorry about poor grammar im working on it

did you had an Nvidia GPU before your RX5700XT?
no . old card was rx580 i believe
do the "how to fix stuff" method ;)
1. disable Win10 auto-driver-install
2. update Win10 to 20H2
3. upgrade BIOS to latest
4. do a CMOS reset - leave everything on auto (that also means no XMP etc)
5. run DDU in safe-mode to clean old driver
6. instal 20.12.1
7. test again
