been playing for a week now. no crashing, here are my settings hope it helps someone
I have 7800x3d.... 7900 XTX ddr5 cl 30 6000
was crashing all the time for over a year now! this fixed it! with current drivers if it helps drop me a line.
had to turn down my max frequency. drivers are putting them way to high at 2900 MHZ. turn them down
I have already tried lowering the max frequency and increasing the power limit, but it did not solve anything for me.
I have a suspicion that some of the crashes may be relate to the power management of the new drivers, especially when using HDR.
Are you using HDR?
no I am not using HDR. I'm happy to just play again. sry didn't work for ya
Hi , i have to turn off sam some games dont like it and crash, for me my pc shut down with some games like the first desendant ,now 2 days with out crash or shut down my pc
everything works too
turn off zero rpm on your fans
take a closer look
Turn off freesync on all monitors.
That's what got my games to run on 7800xt.
The last 2 versions of drivers (24.6.1/24.7.1) looks to have give us that free sync bug that tend to popular every now and then
None of these things worked for me. It ended up being that I needed to downclock my (system) RAM. Ironically, it benches faster in all CPU and memory benchmarks set at 5600 with 28-34-34-71 timings than at 6000 with 30-36-36-76 anyway, and cured my game crash issues.
Having the exact same issue got a RX 7900 XTX Sapphire Nitro+ off a close friend about a week ago if the GPU is allowed to hit high boost frequencies within a minute or 2 my AMD GPU Drivers and Adrenaline will freeze and my PC will blackscreen for a few seconds before coming back but with the game closed
Only solution I have found which is more of a temporary fix is to simply run the game with Radeon Chill on so the GPU cannot boost high enough to crash or to limit my Boost to around 2200mhz
